The past week was mostly quiet and calm at our house, a welcome break after a few weeks of travel planning, travel, and travel recovery. The kids are on their long Easter break, but the weather has been gorgeous so they rarely come in the house throughout the day – they’re out playing cricket and football and building forts in the garden. Even Bridget. It’s lovely.
Here’s a list of things I loved this week. None of which are related to politics because there’s only so much a person can take.
This is an old article, but lambing season is a real thing here in England. Every field is currently full of tiny little lambs hopping around behind their mamas. It is awesome.
Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite books on earth. The trailer for the new movie looks delightful.
The U.S. Women’s Soccer team won a major victory in their case for equal pay. This makes me feel hopeful.
I took my first pilates class ever this week. My core is screaming, but in a good way. I can’t wait to go back.
I like Amy Schumer’s interview for the May InStyle cover. And I like Amy Shumer’s attitude toward a lot of things.
